29 Year Old CEO Applauds Tom Cruise and Blasts American Leaders
29, year old CEO, Sharifah Hardie, vehemently applauds actor, Tom Cruise’s statements on “Oprah” and “The Today Show” and adamantly blasts today’s leaders.
Sharifah says, in a soon to be released magazine article for African American Woman, “Tom was right. Although I do not agree with Scientology in its entirety, I don’t believe you have to join his religion in order to understand his views. Isn’t it time we all became passionate about life? If it takes jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey’s coach to get people’s attention, then somebody needs to start jumping up and down.“
“We are so quick to point the finger elsewhere and to other countries. We are sending our sons and daughters off to die in foreign wars, yet we are unable to feed our children, pay our bills, are in massive amounts of debt, divorcing, getting laid off and see no hope for the future right here in America. Our factories are closing, employees are being laid off by the millions and we can’t afford the gas it costs to get us to work. Where are today’s leaders? Where are our church leaders, government leaders, financial leaders we depend on to create jobs, opportunities and a better life for all of us? Are they too busy padding their pockets to care about any of us?”
Sharifah goes on to say, “So many of our churches have huge thousand member congregations, Reverends with multiple million dollar homes and government officials that commit white collar crimes and walk away. These are the same people who should be teaching us to become CEO’s, start our own businesses and create jobs so the entire economy doesn’t suffer. Who is looking out for the people?”
“Tom understands that it is the way we react to the experiences in our life that shapes our future. If we choose to be depressed, we will wind up depressed and institutionalized. We will be too medicated to even see that we have a voice, that we can stand up and make a difference. This is still America and we still have the right to free speech and to our own beliefs. Tom has just made the conscious decision to be happy, joyful and successful. Maybe if we all focused on having the same attitude we could infect everyone else with our joy and generate the same contagious magic.”
When asked what Sharifah had to say to her critics, Sharifah responded, “To all of the people who disagree I say loudly, Blog This!”
